Hot Weather Policy
Extended pool hours on hot days this summer
We are making changes to allow the outdoor pools at Healesville, Belgrave, Lilydale and Kilsyth to stay open longer on hot days:
- If the Coldstream weather reading at 5pm on the day is 30 degrees Celsius or above and there is a minimum of 10 people at the Centre, the Centre will stay open for one hour past the normal scheduled closing time.
- If the Coldstream weather reading at 7pm on the same day is 30 degrees Celsius or above and there is a minimum of 10 people at the Centre, the Centre will stay open for one further hour until 8.00pm.
- NOTE: For safety reasons ther outdoor pool operating hours will not be further extended beyonf 8pm regardless of temperature
